Who is your favorite evil character in the books of Drizzt Do'urden?My favorite is Jarlaxle.Because he masters Menzoberranzan with his intelligence,not Matron Mothers.And he is just a male in a Drow city.

I voted Jarlaxle. I don't really think he is evil though, just sometimes opposed to Drizzt. But of the available characters he is the one i liked the most.

 

I went with Artemis as he is a great mirror for Drizzt.

Also, Drizzt is a great fighter as he is drow, and so was naturally a stealthy killer. Artemis had to work his ass off to be on Drizzt's level, so added to his ruthless nature, he was tops for me!

 

Jarlaxle is more chaotic neutral in my eyes but he is darn cool. Entreri is just awesome, without him the Drizzt books would be much less. The very fact that he have gained the same if not greater skill than Drizzt in a mere 30 years compared to the around 100 Drizzt have had.

 

Jarlaxle, though he's not evil.

 

Artemis Entreri i like him the most of the characters that were given here.

how old is Drizzt in his several fights with entreri? From the first trilogy and some fanfic I understood around 70...

 

Zincarla-fied Zaknafein (because Zaknafein is cool ), or maybe Matron Malice...

And Joacqin - well, there's nothing saying that Drizzt could not have equalled Entreri when he was younger too...

Maybe Jarlaxle is chaotic neutral ,but I counted him as evil because he works with evil characters.But he is still an honorable drow.

Artemis is cool,too.His battles with Drizzt in the same side are fascinating.

 

but wouldn't this mean that he IS neutral? (+1 evil) for working with evil chars and (+1 good) for being an 'honorable' drow?

Anyways, I'd have said Jaraxle but afaik he's Chaotic Neutral, so I'm going with Entreri. But Jaraxle is definitely the coolest FR character imo, bar none.

 

Artemis is the best villain as he was Drizzt's Archrival/Archenemy.

I find Jarlaxle not so much an enemy to Drizzt, (*spoiler*-->) I mean Jarlaxle even helps Drizzt later on, and I'd say he's definatley chaotic neutral with honour. His motives aren't evil, he's just a surviour in a cruel world.

I actually don't even see Entreri as being THAT evil...he actually has some redeemable qualities. I did vote for him though because he's definitely my favorite character from those listed. I'd have picked Jarlaxle but he's defintely not evil, as has been pointed out. Now, as far as being pure evil..well, obviously Errtu, being a demon and all, but ol Baenre...she was one black-hearted granny!

 

Entreri.

I also enjoyed Matron Malice.

 

Jarlaxle is definately most intriguing, and the scariest. Ok, well, Artemis is scarier, but that doesn't mean he's the greastest supervillain. But then again, Jarlaxle, isn't really a villain. He's just an egocentrist.

 

Entreri. He makes being evil good!!

 

Hmm, I think I'd go with Entreri too - Jarlaxle basically tries to stay alive and get some loot by the way. He may be evil (I'd go with NE, for the most part), but Entreri is just what I imagine when I think of "bad".

 

Drizzt, If I was Ao I would label every character that started his book with 2 pages about his feelings as evil..
