Well, at the risk of inviting massive flames, taunts, and etc. on my head from just about everyone else at this site, my favorite character was Legolas. So there. Make fun of me all you want, I don't care. Sob. :sosad:

    Just kidding. ;)

I just can't choose. There's so many nice characters.

I was somewhat disappointed by Faramir. Theoden was pretty nice, though. 'Let them come...' Something I wouldn't say when there is an army of at least 10.000 bloodthirsty monsters with that nasty single purpose to destroy mankind.

[IMG] Theodenking! Why the hell is he not in the list? I love his transformation of his "lich-like" state into the great warrior (by Gandalf ;) ) as well as his cool armor!

    Treebeard.

For a being who says that he (or Ents in general) don't say anything unless its worth saying, and that he (they) think about it before saying it, he sure talked alot.

He reminded me of the uniquely wise grandfather with a mischevous streak, kind of like Granpa Pickles fromt he Rugrats (oooh, I can feel the heat from the flames now).

As far as the Films, Gollum is very gewd. In the Book, I liked Aragorn.

Faramir in the films was a disgrace. I spit at Jackson for tarnishing this character. (or whoever choose to portray Faramir in such a way) It makes me want to vomit.

Boromir all the way, Sean Bean kicked ass in that role, I wish they would have cast him for the role of Faramir.

Faramir wasn't that bad I thought he struggled against the ring like his brother but won at the end, nothing wrong with his performance.

Boromir just had the best part doing the whole betraying thing then dieing as a hero with three arrows sticking out of his chest.
Faramir was done horribly, he should have stayed in his cave
There should be a Figwit option ;)

    [IMG] Boromir.

    Eze looks kinda baffled

I think EVERYBODY knows that and my strange obsession with him AND Sean Bean, who is one very talented actor like I wrote in my english notebook. Teach got angry.

    Aragon !!!!!

    What a hunk!
    And he's such a hero!
And he's faithful to his love, I loved that scene when Legolas returns the necklace to Aragon.

For me it was Gimli. He just made my day! I love his 'Dwarven' comments! And his belief that he can take on 10,000 orcs with just him and Aragorn (sp?) :p Absolutely class :D

    Keep em' coming Gims!

[IMG] One of my favourite (though short-lived) character in the books is Boromir. I thought Sean Bean's performance as Boromir in the film was spectacular, exactly like how I imagined him, a proud, strong but flawed character he is. Not to mention he has the best line in the film (also his last).

    Boromir has my vote.
