It's got to be Simon's Quest for me. It was my first Castlevania game, and the one I enjoyed the most.

It was also the first Adventure game that I owned, and introduced me to RPGs.

And the music in Castlevania (dunno if it should be called a town or a castle) was AWESOME! This atmospheric, spooky feeling... it was great!

Aside from the original, I'd only ever heard of CII: Simon's Quest. I played it *forever* on my Nintendo. The music was quite creepy.

Aria of Sorrow! Finally finding the Holy Avenger-equivalent via a secret passage was a great moment, as was finally taking on the Chaos Spirit in the Castle and destroying it for good.

    A wee spoiler:

Becoming Dracula! Fighting Julius Belmont, with all the traditional weapons (holy water, cross, axe etc, and of course the Whip)!

SOTN, of course. It's such an amazing game - great graphics, spells, equipment, characters ...

I thought it would be no contest!

Simon's Quest remains the favorite for the moment. Good old NES classics are hard to beat, aren't they? Although every Castlevania game is good on its own, well, maybe with the exception of Lament of Innocence, which I didn't really liked... nor did I enjoyed Dracula X. Maybe I'm just an idiot who can't appreciate the value of this game, or maybe these were the "cursed" games of the serie.

Ah, it seems we got a resurrection fan! That's one Castlevania I haven't played. Is it worth it?

I'm currently playing Harmony of Dissonance on GBA, and it's pretty slick! Haven't had the pleasure to try Aria of Sorrow, though. Oh well.

Yes, I know there are a few missing here... I dished as much as I could just by relying on me memory (duh?) even though I never played resurrection... :D

Simon's Quest and Aria of Sorrow are now shoulder-to-shoulder. Interesting. I'm currently playing Circle of the Moon, and it's pretty good!

Simon's Quest and Aria of Sorrow are still shoulder-to-shoulder. I expected Symphony of The Night to stand out as a favorite, but it isn't. Interesting.

Yes very interesting, as far as I know I'm the only one who voted for symphony. Also I though there was more Akumanjo fans here. Oh well can't have anything in life.

Well, it's time to kill this poll.

Final Result: Simon's Quest and Aria of Sorrow are shoulder-to-shoulder. Interesting.
