    Okay, I'm gonna give a little unsolicited clarification (which MAY be off, since I'm not the one having made the poll):


    -'single' means never married, not dating or cohabitating.

    -'dating' can mean either never married or divorced, and involved with someone (or 'playing the field') but not serious (yet?) enough to move in together.

    -'cohabitating' means involved with someone, and serious enough to share a life, but either not (yet?) married, or object to marriage as a ceremony/institution/etc (think Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed :D ).

    -'married' means bonded through a legal or religious ceremony, and can include cohabitation (but does not have to :) ).

    -'divorced' means previously married, and presently not married, dating or cohabitating.


    So, how'd I do, Shell? Need to alter any of my definitions?

    I'm married with the Finnish Army, but after just seventeen days I'll be divorced. ;)

    More seriously though. I've been single for the time I've been in the army and have not really been searching for any closer relationships during that time, it would just bee difficult spending so much time away.

    Seriously though, single for me, status-wise. I'm involved, but not married and it's not a "common law" relationship as you call it in Anglo-Saxon countries. ;) BTW, she's saying hi. :p
