    One of the best things about the BG1 NPC project is that way they've added numerous portraits (that show up in dialogues) for non-playable NPCs throughout the game - for, amongst others, Volo, Elminster and Tazok.

    I was just wondering if anyone has done this for BG2 yet. If not I'd willingly try to help in a project to make one. I am not techy but I could find fitting portraits for all the major characters - it seems strange for the likes of Matron Mother, Renal Bloodscalp and many many others to not have portraits when Quayle does have one.

    Oh, I have protraits for some quest NPCs in my game, from a mod of my loong list, I guess. I had portraits for Maevar, Shade Lord, BG1 NPCs that appear in the game, and some more.

    You could just get some different portraits and edit them with Shadowkeeper, I guess. Or I think there are portrait packs out there somewhere that edit random people's portraits. It's a good idea though. :)

    Yeah, but the idea is great still, and using SK to give all NPC's portraits is a bit of work, would be easier with a mod.

    @Drathir Darthirii: nice name ;)

    I know this is a bit off-topic, but it means Moon Elf in Drow. I found some converter thing.

    As to the SK taking a long time thing, it didn't for me 'cus I only used it for a couple of people. But I think this portrait pack thing is a really great idea. I would download it if you made it. :D

    Ok - I'm a COMPLETE newb when it comes to modding, I've never even thought about doing such things.

    However - given that ALL I want to do is simply edit a few NPC files to add portraits to them - I am guessing it can't be so hard.

    I've downloaded Near Infinity and InfExpoler and read a few of the tutorials but none of them mention how to simply change an existing NPC's portrait.

    All I want to do is add the portraits and then make an executable pack that automatically makes those changes (via Weidu???) so that everyone else can use them too.

    I am guessing this is not hard but someone will need to tell me how to do it if I am going to do it :D !
