Private Shura of the Singapore Armed Forces!
After months of hellish training in a swampy island of Singapore's coast, I have completed my Basic Military Training. Having learnt the basics of jungle combat, bayonet fighting and the use of an M16 assualt rifle, I shall now detail my growth using game terms in the past few months:

Gained Ranger Level 0. (Apprentice Level, after sneaking around in the jungle and camoflauging myself for months)
Constitution +1 and Wisdom + 1
Enough Experience Points to get me to the next level of whatever class I currently am.

Just had to share this with you guys since I graduated today.

 

Great, Getting through Boot is the hardest part. Congradulations. In the Singapore Army, what specific job have you been trained to do? Infantry, Artillery, etc. or are you going to be a desk jockey?
I did 4 years in the US Army in the Artillery. I just loved firing the "Big" guns.

 

You guys are lucky...you can get big weapons like rifles that I can't use!!!!!!!!

 

Shadow, A rifle is a pop gun compared to an 8-Inch Howitzer. When I say "Big" Gun, I mean "BIG".

Did 1 year in the Norwegian navy myself, no jungle there. Pretty much spent all 12 months raising a flag and open a gate on a coastal fort, the remaining hours of the day we watched tv, played playstation, sleeped and partied.... Not much of a military service, but I had so much fun.

 

Shura, I don't care for Singapore Armed Forces!

Are you trained in that just in case Napoleon and his troops set their sights on Singapore?

Sarcasm aside, congrats. I'd rather kill myself/others than join the army, but that's just my personality.

P.S. For all of you running your own nation, don't be discouraged by my lack of enthusiasm for the armed forces. Even though I won't join your army, I will be more than happy to run it.

Congratulations. So, did you have to stay awake for days on end or go w/o food/water for a while? I've heard some interesting stories about boot here in the US. Everyone I knew who did it, even the athletes, came back in the best shape of their lives.
