On the 17 november '95 there was a great storm here in Sweden. It was over 2 metres high at home. And thats high IMHO.

We got somewhere around 24". It was actually too much for the toddlers to enjoy playing in. It may be a 4-day weekend for me, depending n how the trains are running tomorrow, so maybe we can go sledding then!

Here in Madison, as well as home in Chicago, snow has been pretty scarse. This is the second year that has had pretty minimal snowfall.

Since cars are useless in Madison anyway, I'd have loved for 24 inches of snowfall. I love snow.

For those of us not subscribed to the Trib, I'll summarize the idea of the night club stampede -- stampede in a night club until 21 people are killed.

In hindsight...not a brilliant game, but keep in mind we are all disappointed about our lack of snowfall.

Here in DC I'm worried that Congress has been out of session.

Who will pass all our laws and make sure that we're well-taxed?

2 metres? That's close to 8 feet, or 96 inches of snow. No, I don't think we're going to top that.

I actually went out Sunday night after the blizzard was about halfway through and shovelled off my driveway. This way, the only major hassle on Monday morning was cleaning off the crap that the plow put into the drive.

We got very lucky! When we saw that our driveway had been closed by the guy cleaning out the court with a front-end loader, we went out with our shovels. But the guy saw us working, came back around, and opened us back up with two quick sweeps.

100 bonus points into his karma pool!

In St. John's, Newfoundland, they have a total this year of over 3 meters. But, I'm in Ontario, and we have barely any snow compared to normal, only about 18".
