Prince's heart

    I've never done the City of Caverns this way. When the king tells me to kill the prince and bring him the heart, do I still talk to the priestess to get the orb? I would think so, because I can't think of another way into the prince's hideout. Once there, do I just kill everyone (after talking to the prince, of course ;) )?

    You get into the Rebels' base using the Tooth of Sekolah (gotten from the chest behind the spectator); the Orb only makes the rebels inside non-hostile when you do. The first time, I didn't even know about the orb. Then you just kill them all as you work your way to the Prince.

    Of course, there's nothing stopping you from taking the Orb from the priestess, and then just whacking the Prince when the Chieftain escorts you to him. :evil:

    IIRC, from my last run-through, you do get the option to refuse the prince's 'offer'. Does he go hostile when you tell him no?

    Another approach (though not a particularly nice one) is to help the rebels and kill the king, per plan ;) .

    Then, just as you're about to say your good-byes and swap phone numbers with your new Sanghuin friends (BFF), instead, you can unsheathe your sword and paint the streets red with the blood of the Sanghuin infidels, feasting upon their Sekolah worshipping corpses!

    A-hem. Just thought this option should be covered, for reasons of posterity.

    No mod; it's the Gauntlets of Crushing. Useless for anyone except a monk, but a monk can put them to very good use.
    Yup, he's as crazed as the king.

    Hmm, so what this tells me is that in my many many run throughs of this game, I've always helped the rebels and killed the king, as I've never seen these gauntlets. Apparently, I need to 'mix-it-up' a little more.

    Yes, but you must kill the prince first, get the reward from the king (including the gauntlets) and then kill all the king's ... fishies.

    But, as mentioned previously, this is really only important to a monk.
