    I don'T know about her too, unless..

    Is she a vampire? Then do not wander at nights to avoid her.

    Vampires and some other nasty undead creatures have such a powerful contact to negative energy plane that they drain life energy when they touch the living succesfuly. They steal your character levels. You become weaker and weaker and once your levels reach 0, you die...horribly....to become a vampire spawn. (in the game, the death is sometimes permanent, I guess this is how they did implement it.)

    Cast the cleric spell Negative Energy Protection to be immune to lvl draining. It lasts for 4 rounds though (approx. 24 seconds) so be careful.

    Find the sword called Daystar, it emits a sunray once per day which is, deadly to vampires and all undead.

    Vampires also love to dominate people with eye contact, beware!

    Only way to cure a level drained victim is through clerical spell:Restoration. (lesser or greater)Temples cast it and sell scrolls, which, suprisingly, can be used by anybody with normal inteligence. (No, Minsc can't use it I guess)

    What is she?

    A vampire? Or a humanoid? She attacks you at nights, level drains you, (small bits of blue energy washes over the victim when he is succesfully attacked, an icon of pump appears on portrait, and character record says LEVEL DRAINED) and kills you? She is a vampire then.

    I believe Parisa is a vampire. Most of the vampires usually talk to you before attacking, *unless* you've sided with the Shadow Thieves early in Chapter 2. Then they will attack without talking.

    Best advice is to not be out in Athkatla after sunset (20 hour on game clock).

    Parisa is a vampire, and she's included in the vamp triggers that are strewn about Athkatla. She'll attack you if you've sided with the Shadow Thieves, but if you're undecided or have sided with Bodhi, she'll just leave. And "dear mulciber" has likely encountered vampires before, since Parisa's encounter is the fourth in a series. Hareishan comes first (don't have to fight if you don't want to), then Salia (who runs and lets the thieves take care of you), then Sansuki, the fighter who asks for your help against Del (who will attack if you've sided with the Shadow Thieves). The fifth encounter is with Tanova, who also will only attack if you've sided with the Shadow Thieves, but will also attack if you've taken neither side yet still claim the Shadow Thieves' protection.

    @mulciber:
    How are you having trouble with her? Some details might help.

    Thanks for help. Situation is exactly like Felinoid told. I resotored some old save games and once again started in Athkatla. I talked with Bodhi on cementary after sided with the Shadow Thieves and my problem with vampires disappear.

    Once again thanks a lot for help.

    Parisa is easy enough to take down if you are using decent gear. Cast negative plane protection on your tank and give him a +2 weapon. Everyone should use +2 arrows, bolts, and bullets. This is a doable strategy at low levels.

    You don'T need to ally with Bodhi to dodge the encounter. You COULD have killed the bloodsucker! Why did she give you such a headache, I am at a loss to say.
