problem with Questpack (possible spoiler)

    I've got a problem with the questpack. Right now I'm doing Brega's quest to eliminate Linvail (right after coming back from the underdark). So I went to the Shadow Thieves' compound, killed a bunch of them, killed Renal and took his key.

    But when I go to the cellar, the cursor remains a questionmark, with something like "door barred from inside." Got the key, I think...

    Am I overlooking something here? A door perhaps? Thx

    Hmmm. if it's anything like when you side with Bodhi then there is a button or two you have to find further into the Shadow Thieves Guild. you can't just go straight to Aran Linvail.

    Thanks, the only evil character I ever took through SOA was an assassin, so I still had to side with the thieves. I got in.

    When you get down there, a theif should have run up to talk to you. You have to get a key and press a button (both you get by going north and following the 2 paths... they are on the same map).
