    Today I reinstalled BG2 and made a full install with my BG2-DVD. It all workt out well and directly after it was finished I installet BG2: ToB - Full installation.

    I patched the game with the latest ToB-patch and then pressed play.

    It loaded more then usual and then a message came up saying "Insert the original CD" there was only one button - OK. I pressed it and then nothing more happend besides the message disspearing and the loading of the game stopped.

    This had been with the ToB-CD so I tried again with the SoA-DVD... same problem.

    I also has an old CD-version of SoA so I tried with that one... same problem.

    Can someone please help me?

    It seems to me that something similar happened to me once when I uninstalled SoA + ToB and then reinstalled just SoA. I think (but I’m not entirely sure about this) that I solved it by uninstalling again and deleting the entire Black Isle directory, then reinstalling.
    BTW, since you have ToB installed, you should have posted this in the ToB forum instead of SoA ;)

    I uninstalled and installed the game again.

    First I only installed SoA and then everything workt perfectly. Then I tried to install Tob but not the message came up again telling me to put in the original CD-ROM.

    So now I have located the problem... Yay! =(

    Did you try to change the baldurs.ini?
    Sometimes I just forget that and happened the same to me, so I change the cd locations in the .ini file and that always solved the problem.
    I hope that will be enough.

    This is how it looks now:

    HD0:=C:bad:Program\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\
    CD1:=C:bad:Program\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\English\;C:bad:Program\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\CD1\
    CD2:=C:bad:Program\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\CD2\;C:bad:Program\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\English\;C:bad:Program\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\CD2\
    CD3:=C:bad:Program\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\English\;C:bad:Program\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\CD3\
    CD4:=C:bad:Program\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\English\;C:bad:Program\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\CD4\
    CD5:=C:bad:Program\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\CD5\

    Should I change them all to my DVD-drive?
