[IMG] I have huge problems summoning monsters:
during the whole story and the whole world of SoA I had some monsters imprisoned, and some other lost somewhere.
The matter is that now I'm playing ToB and my summoning limit is formally 5 but I can summon only 2 monsters!!!

How can I do to unsummon all the monsters?
    A CLUA command, I don't know, a special patch...

Help me please!!! I can't live with only 2 monsters...

In BG2, it's normal. Monster Summoning 1 gives you 60 percent chance of 1 monster and 40 percant chance of 2. With Monster Summoning II you also get 60% chance of 1 monster and 40 percent of 2 monsters. (the difference is that MS1 creates 3HD monster and MS2 4HD monsters. MSIII creates 1 or 2 5HD monsters. So this is quite normal, don't worry.

I supposed Monster Summoning was (I agree) too powerful in BG and made a bit less powerfull in BG2. You get less monsters, but the monsters you got have better attacks and more Hit Points.

    [IMG] Hello, Headbanger!
I think you didn't understand my problem.
I know that MS1 doesn't summon 5 monsters, but my problem is another: if I cast it 2 times, or three times, or if I cast any other summon spell, the monsters I lose during the game, don't know where, count against the limit permanently!!!
So I can't summon at all more than 2 monsters, even if I sleep for months!

I don't think you could do anything at this point... If you still had access to BG2 areas (which you probably don't), you could revisit each area and cast Freedom (or whatever the spell is called), but that would take ages. I think you're stuck with 2 monsters... :(

[IMG] I have the same problem but only a little worse. I can't summon any monsters. And my main character is a mage. There is only one way to get around this. Export your main character and start a new ToB game.
