Problems with Mazzy and the Ogre!

    I'm having a little problem here...I hope someone knows how to help me! I've heard that there's an Ogre that appears to Mazzy (when she's in the group, of course) outside Copper Coronet creating some kind of trouble...I mean, a subquest to her! But I can't find this Ogre, why? Is there some bug just like to Cernd about his son? I mean, if you're high level, the subquest won't happen. Will this happen with Mazzy too???

    [​IMG] I had a big thread about this in the ToB forum many moons ago but it appears that it's been removed now.

    Her quests are the most buggy. I never was able to get the one with her sister started. :(

    After many tries the ogre one was finally accomplished by me.

    Have Mazzy in your party and enter the Slums area from another area. Go to the southern door-way to the copper coronet. He should be there. If not try entering and exiting the door there a few times. By-standers should "warp in" for him to hit to insult Mazzy. If he doesn't get a hit on the first try or two they keep warping in until the screen is full of them (major bug that messes up the event).

    If you can get it to work he will ask Mazzy to fight him inside the copper coronet.

    Talk to the man who runs the dog fights and then find the Ogre's girl friend.

    Next bug: His girl friend should be right near the fight manager but sometimes she isn't there at all. This will doom the event too. :(

    There should be a alchemist to buy a potion off of as well. Sometimes not... (bug 3)

    When you can talk to her, sweet talk her and tell her with the "love potion" the Ogre will become nice to her as well. She will put some in his drink. It will make him easy to beat. ;)

    You get lots of extra XP for getting this done.

    I have ToB installed in all my games and my version may not be the same as yours. I can only relate my experiences. I hope some of the above helps.

    Well, I tried! I tried so many times that my patience went to the funds of my computer!! I need some help here...please, someone must know a way to solve this problem!!!

    [​IMG] Really? The oldest thread in the ToB forum I can find is one started by me Feb 2nd (about romances/race). I only can access 2 pages deep at most in any forum.

    Is there some setting I may have made in error to cause this? :confused:

    I left the setting in my profile on the default 20 days when I joined and never revisited it until now.

    Now it's set for a full year.
    Just look at all those pages! :D

    Thanks people! I went to see the thread and now I have some questions about this CLUAConsole, for I understand nothing of programimg! I mean...is this a program I have to download it? What can I do to have it? And after having it, how I access this "CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("GorfBystander","GLOBAL",3)" written in that thread?
    Sorry for my ignorance and my silly questions. :sosad:
