When my main character drow sorcerer cast spell, sometimes I can decide where spell will be placed or which one enemy will be targeted, sometimes he automaticly targets someone and I have no chances to guide spell. He is in puppet mode.
And same with druid girl, I cast barkskin on Khelgar, after that choose barkskin again and she cast it on Khelgar again, I have no chance to improve AC for Neeshka or my main. I have disabled spellcasting for her.
    Why is it so??

    TIA

nwn 2 has a new targeting system in place for various actions

one is to manually target your action via cursor, the other way is to rightclick on one of your characters (or the enemy), which will bring the character's portrait to the top of the screen (usually) and will also show his hitpoints

the character so selected is the default target for all defensive or offensive spells (depending if it's enemy or not)
this makes it far easier to buff people since you can just right click on them and click on the spells you wish to cast on them

in combat, you also have an option to target closest enemy or you can circle around various targets in range (you have to set hotkeys)
obviously this makes spellcasting far easier when you get used to it

Thanks! Now I see, this makes sense.
