[IMG] What would everyone think of psionics in BG2?
I think that it would be cool to be a psion person, using your mind to kill everyone.

Anyone else have any thoughs on this?
    I just realized I'm. . . LEVEL 1, now we're talking power baby

Well mindflayers use psionics, and you can use the Shapechange mage spell (lvl 9) to become one yourself.

It works like a mind affecting spell, so the rescuethrow (rt) against mind affecting spells works here too - therefore my halfling (race rt-bonus) paladin (class rt-bonus) with wis-18 (wis-rt-bonus +4) [actual rescue throw 0 or -1] is actually immune against it :D so intelligence drain is the only thing he has to deal with :D :D

[IMG] Bah! Donaldus has int-12, usual int-drain is for 5 points so he has a really good chance to kill before getting killed.

the saving throw vs. mindflayers psi-attack is actually against wands, not spells.

Now that very well should be a character class in a Black Isle game. Psionics are very cool. Some of the psionic abilities are very cool indeed, and I think that psionicist would be a great addition, much more so than adding in the Barbarian or Sorcerer class. Too bad we probably won't see this class with all games switching over to 3rd edition rules.

Yep, TIN-MAN. Your allseeing eye clearly sees through everything I do. Leveling up is the only thing I want, my dream is to by a myko slasher one day. That´s why I type this post and all my posts. Just the same reason why I typed the posts from 30th april and 8th may ...

btw: If I had just edited my message, no one would have noticed the correction ;)
