    - Was on a forum the other day for Warhammer where there was a topic asking about what background fluff you had for your Tomb King and I wrote a few bits about my Queens - about a paragraph each - and got a positive response. Has made me want to write up more fluff and background for them, has really enthused me on egyptology again as well, have been reading up a lot of information on egypt and adapted what I know about Nehekhara to see what is and isn't plausible and 'real' enough to fit into the fantasy mythos. Including translating the real Egyptian gods to the still known to the Nehekharans.

I've been looking a lot into colour, gem and iconic symbolism as well as fashion, diet and housing. Struggled for quite a while to find an answer to one question that bugged me the most for a while when I ventured into the realms of google...

What happens to the eyes in a mummified corpse? Do they wither? Are they poked out? Replaced?

Turns out they're usually replaced and can be dated by how they were. Earlier mummies have fabric painted to look like eyes put into their eye sockets while others had stones and gems and cut glass depending on the era and importance of a mummy. Will be fun to write about :D
