Quest Pack new version?

    [​IMG] I have an older version of Quest Pack. I now downloaded the new version (v3) it has new and cool stuff.

    Should I unisntall the old version first, or can I install the new one on top of old one? I checked the site but the guys are not even sure, one suggest uninstalling, other says it is unnecesary and can cause bugs to current saves. I am not planning to start a new game. What should I do?

    You won't have any trouble updating mid-game. I did it with no ill effects myself.

    It will not make a difference whether you uninstall, extract and reinstall or extract and then reinstall. Providing you don't change the order of mods you've installed in the meantime.

    So if Quest Pack is not your most recently-installed mod, I'd suggest extracting the new one over the old, running setup, and then reinstalling all the components (which will replace old versions with new).

    Are there any incompatibilities between the latest version of QP and other mods ?
    I am talking mainly about the Tactics mod.

    Some of the changes I have seen in the QP's Readme :

    1) Area Changes,like :

    - Beholder lair in the Underdark
    - Twisted Rune
    - Changes in the North Forest

    2) Creatures changes :

    - Beholders abilities adjusted
    - Elite Fire Giants - new ability Berserk
    - Mind Flayers

    3) Boss changes :

    - Irenicus
    - Bodhi

    4) General AI improvement :

    - New behaviour of illusionary images. (Simulacrum, Projected Image, Mislead.)
    ... You also get legal AI--the scripts do not allow creatures to "cheat".

    Does that mean that it will change improved Sendai's script (Oversight mod) ? Since she like cheating when using her PIs .

    Will there be any conflict between Tactics and the components of the QP I mentioned ?

    Oh you are soo right thetruth, this may mean trouble for me. Andyr, what should I do? If it will cause trouble I am afraid I will have to skip the new version. :'(

    I guess that we have to wait for a response, although in the Readme it says that there are not compatibility issues with most other WeiDU mods.
