I just created an assasin and set his alignment to true nuetral. I just read on the theives guide on SP that assasins had to be evil or chaotic neutral aligned. My question is since my char. is true nuetral does it affect the assasins abilities? Is this a bug that it let me create it with a true nuetral alignment?

  2. Now, I dont have the Expanded Theives Guild, but I do know that in BGII an assassin can be of any alignment except Lawful Good.
I do not beleive that it is changed with the Mod, but it maybe have been.

Someone who has played it should beable to expand on it..

Alignment does not affect abilities in any way.

But with the Assasin, allignment doesn't matter, you'll have/keep your abilities.

Evil assassins and no other alignment issue has it's source in stoneage version of d&d rules. BG2 doesn't think that assassin cannot use his abilities for other causes, especially those that are good or neutral.
