At a certain part in the game you have discussion with myrkul (the evil former god of death in D&D faerun). You can end this discussion by leaving him alone, devouring his soul, or putting him to rest. Doing the last improves your influence with Kaelyn. Is there any long term (end of the game) result for doing either of the last 2 options?

If there is then is there any difference in the results relating to what you do?

First of, there are actually 4 options. leaving him alone, Devouring his soul, let One-of-Many devour his soul (give positive rep with him) or putting him to rest.

By devouring his soul you gives you access to the Ravenous Incarnation, which is very powerfull form to be in, but potentially dangerous for you ( a bit like that monster you can turn into in BG2 and TOB). Also you get Myrkuls essence which combined with the broken Scythe, can become a very good weapon

    Myrkul's Wrath

    Scythe: 2d4 x4
    +5d6 negative energy
    Decreased Armor: -12
    +10 enhancement bonus
    immunity: death magic
    Keen
    Massive Criticals 2d12
    On hit: slay good DC26
    On Hit Wounding DC 24
Use: gate (17) 1x per day

    Equester is right.

However, the Broken Scythe isn't spawned in MotB, so you have to use the Debug Console to spawn it in.
