Question about Thief HLA Assassinate....

    [​IMG] As it says all attacks made with this are treated as backstab attacks, I was idly wondering-does this work with bows/crossbows? If so, my Archer dualed to Thief will truly be a killing machine!

    No it does not, it means normal backstabs. As in with Melee weapons.

    Archer dualled to thief ??! :mommy: Uhm, I doubt that will be possible unless you write a new BG-2 mod changing the dualclassing rules :p A dualclass combo, as a rule of thumb, must be a valid muulticlassing combo. Since there is no ranger-thief in BG-2 you will not be able to make such a char.

    You'll have to wait for IWD-2 to do so.

    Yes it will. Every attack will be made with your backstab damage modifier. However, since the Swashbuckler has only a backstab damage modifier of x1, you won't get any extra damage.
