Question on Prot. From Magic

    [​IMG] If you drink an oil of speed and then cast protection from magic .... is the speed canceled?

    What about other existing spell affects? If I have a protection from evil going does it get cancelled?

    I just was wondering if anybody knew.

    The spell just protects you from Magic that is cast on you after the protection is cast on you, it has no influence on spells you, party-members or enemies casted on you.

    Maybe you mention Dispel Magic, in that case Magic thinks like haste will be dispelled, I'm not ssure if that's the same with potions.

    Well ...

    I don't know what happened but you were wrong.

    Its a good thing I saved my game because you sure as heck do lose all your magic when you use a prot. from magic scroll.

    The battle was shorter than I had hoped and I will have to rethink my tactics.
