[IMG] My neighbour has a guide dog, he's adorable. She's had a brat before come up to her and kick him, she's had people stop and pet him while she's at a road crossing for christs sake. People just don't think before they do things. I've also noticed if there is something obviously physically wrong with you, they presume there's something wrong mentally as well. Being in and out the chair like the hokey kokey it's actually really obvious with most people :xx: probably why I like dorky shops like Games Workshop and suchlike, they get so many of both it doesn't seem to phase the staff half as much.

What's also funny is when people ask you if they an have a go in your chair

    Damn right.

I went to sleep early yesterday, and took two Liquigels before going to bed. My CZW on crack immune system appearantly worked full throttle all night, since I woke up in sweat twice, burning with fever.. I woke up about 30 minutes ago, and I'm feeling pretty good - no more fever. All that's left to do is clean the piping of the remaining snot. Already have a pretty good start on that.

This cold lasted a whopping two days. Two very unpleasent days, but better that than carrying it for two weeks...

Have a cable car installed. Or a... whatever the horizontal escalators are called ("tapis roulant" in French, if that's any help... sometimes I hate being multilingual, it just means I can never think of the word I'm looking for in the right language!)

    OK... :jawdrop:

One of my friends (well... more like a very close friend and a family friend) had a very nasty accident many years ago and has trouble walking. She can do mostly anything by herself mind, but it's obvious she has poor control over one side of her body. It annoys me when people start staring at her. She's not even in a wheelchair or with crutches or anything, she just has to do things more slowly. And people just stare, not because they want to offer to help, but just to stare. I'm glad she's used to it and it doesn't annoy her anymore.

I'm sick of my ISP. It gives me a decent connection speed in the day time, when I usually can't be online long, but a crappy speed at night when I have time, but want to get to sleep at some point...

    So tired...

My brother's friend is visiting and staying here at the house for a few days, meaning that my computer time went from short to practically not there.
The best bit is that this visit is an early version of a postponed arrangement from some time ago... - meaning that no one told me about it until it happened. My weekend plans (RL and otherwise) got all jumbled up.

Oh, well, it won't last forever. :p

Since there was a tiny bit of action on the Elder Scrolls forum I was checking a couple of threads there. I went back and reread some of old posts and got to wondering if other people/guys/girls/hobbits/elves/ rpdemts ever wemt bacl amd reread amu pf tjeor [psts/ "Gee that was a dumb post." or "Hey I did a pretty good job with that one." "Blast I forgot to add...."

Oh well what else is there to do on a dark, rainy day in an old age community in the Garden State? Could house clean. Need to house clean. Hate to house clean.

Another day, another [censored] 9.5 hours shift. 38 hours in four days - give me a [censored] break.

****ake mushrooms - ok, I just wrote that to see what would cover the first part of my word because I was confused about the [censored] signs on DoTW's posts. I think you can just go ahead and swear D, the automatic sensor seems to take care of the rest. Unless you like writing the word "censored". Could just be a creative thing.

The funny thing about the censorship on the board is that, when I try to talk about the 13th Ashikaga Shogun of Japan, the middle part of his name gets tragically replaced by asterisks.

EDIT: Wtf. You can't even have it in links...
    His name is Yoshi-teru.

I once chatted with a woman who lived in Japan for a year and a half. She mentioned that a very common word in Japanese would trip the language filter ont he site where I met her through (A Mormon Singles site)...

D-fly, Tal doesn't like it when people swear and have a bunch of ********* in their post because it still implies swears...

He's referring to the word ****. You know, the 4 letter word, ****...duh... :p :shake:

In other news, we had my birthday party tonight, and let me tell you, I got drunk off my arse! People kept handing my shots of this and that, and for some reason I kept drinking them. :spin:

Probably one of the better parties we've had in a long while. :rolling:

Funny - there are two four-letter words in "Four-letter Word". One of them is even an F-word.

I am taking Japanese! Haha as a first-year student, I don't know much, but a pretty common word that means 'good-bye' or 'excuse me' starts off with (in the romanized version) shi-tsu, so that would probably trip it. Although, there are probably a ton of other words as well.

I had a good laugh when I clicked on your link and got taken to a "page not found" on Wikipedia

I wonder if the auto-censoring in links is something Tal specifically implemented or if it's just part of the package, so to speak.

I got the asterisks even on the wiki not found page...

Today was a day of disappointing realisations. A few bubbles of illusions got burst as well, and shooting things was marked like a great idea. Truth hurts. Why am I surprised?

    A post without smilies.

    Quite the auto-censor there.

Steam rating ten - Eagle Scream. That's 30+ hours of Counter Strike.
So... yeah. :shame: I need a new D&D PC game quick.
