Another language school has contacted me. This time, the pay is bigger and the course level somewhat higher (good, I won't have to bother translating whatever I say to the group). But there's still the jaw surgery to have and the sooner I'm done with it, the better. But after it's done, I won't be able to speak for some time, so no classes. Guess I'll just see how things turn out.

My microbio prof. said, more than once, mircoorganism are the most important organism in the world. Its overall biomass (mass per volume) is more than other biomass of highier organisms combined. The world stops if miroorganism stops.

My entomology prof. said, more than once, insects has the most described species. Given any ecosystem, plants has the highest biomass and insects is second to that. Human survival is tightly linked with life of insects.

My comprehensive biochemistry prof. a.k.a my advisor said, more than once, Bush W has a vacuum head.

Thank you. Whence the apathy? Just nothing happening today or is there something more to it? I also have it tonight. More strongly tonight than ever in a long, long time.

I am going to donate blood today. Do you know what that means? Well, their radio ad explains it.

Giving blood saves lives. Saving lives makes me a hero. And what does every good hero need? A pseudonym.

I'm thinking about something along the lines of Mr. Marvellous. Or is that to 'porn star'?

Jag, way to go, giving blood is a great thing to do! I try to give as often as possible, but it seems I only manage to do it 3 or 4 times a year at the most (sometimes only twice)

 

I just finished the in-class lessons of my drivers education! Every single day the instructor said how much better the system in place in Germany is. Any of you Germans out there with or without your license care to take a couple of minutes and educate the uninformed about the process?
