    Yay, finally made it to first page! Took me a while though (15 months!), but that's probably due to lack of trying.

    Going to play poker tonight. With real money. And I haven't played poker in more than five years. I may be holding a royal flush, decide I've got nothing worthwhile and fold :grin:

    Tomorrow is the day I officially start working on the report I'm supposed to hand in 2 weeks. Problem is, I've been saying that for 3 weeks :lol

    I went into Snow + Rock on Kensington High Street, and woman I spoke to there claimed I looked Polish. Most bizarre. Many people have mistaken me for a German in the past (including real Germans) but Polish is new to me.

    Maybe I'm turning into chev... :mommy: :pope: :shake:

    @ chev: that's why I was so confused. I can understand people mistaking me for a German (fair hair, blue eyes, deep voice), but I thought the slavic look was completely different. I'll put it down to a slightly daft store assistant then. ;)

    There is a Slavic look with fair hair and blue eyes, distinct from the Germanic look with fair hair and blue eyes (e.g. my mum is a blonde with blue eyes but she doesn't look German -- or cf Julia Timoshenko, Ukraine's former premier), but it's beyond me how you could have it, being ethnically Germanic.

    Beer doesn't quench a thirst, though, so what would a fish drink if it got thirsty?

    And yes, cats will walk in a curving style if you cut off 1 side of the whiskers set. :grin:
