I am thinking of trying out a ranger/cleric combo for my next game, but I have a few questions about ranger end since I've never played one.

    1) If a ranger or ranger/cleric becomes fallen in BG1, does the fallen status transfer over if imported to BG2.

    2) When a ranger or ranger/cleric becomes fallen, what abilities are kept? Are druiduic spells still in the cleric's available spells?

    3) When a dual ranger/cleric's rep drops below four while the ranger class is inactive, does the ranger class part still become fallen? If it has no effect, what if the rep is one when the ranger class becomes active again?

    4) Here is a newbish question due to my clinical case of restarteritus. If after completing the hell trials and becoming NE, is it possible to go back to umar hills and do the ranger quest and lose the fallen status?

    1. Yes. Although, on completing the Ranger stronghold you will regain your ranger status.

    2. You lose all Ranger abilities and this should include the Druid spells, but I can't be certain.

    3. Will become fallen when re-actived if Rep 1.

    4. See 1, but don't know if you can go back after doing the hell trials.

I assume you are talking about a dual-class Ranger/Cleric. In my experience the Half-Elf MC Cleric/Ranger is an awesome combination. You get a great tank, fighter THAC0, fighter HLAs, cleric abilities, cleric HLAs, etc, etc.

Bard hit things pretty much on, but I'll answer the one he didn't.

    4. No. Once you finish Hell, the game ends.

    Here's a tip.

Alway's take a ranger/cleric over a fighter/cleric. ranger's start with two point's in 2 weapon style and can cast all Druid spells.

What if you export your char to go through the game one more time? What will happen then?
