I got BGtutu working now and I'm playing a plain Ranger with prof in maces and warhammers and I'm planning on dualclassing her into a cleric. Now my question would in what level I should dual her. Is there a better level to dual her, not like when she gets another charm animal ability but more like an extra prof point or an extra attack or so. Thanks guys and keep up the good work.

Usually it is recommended to dual at 7th, 9th or 12th level. I do not have personal experience in this, however.

Normally, you want to dual from a warrior-type at level 9 or 13. In the case of a Ranger, however, if you would dual at level 9, then you might as well dual at level 7 instead and save yourself a long wait before you regain your
ranger abilities; there is virtually no benefit to be had in this case waiting until level 9, as HP's will be almost the same, you have lots of prof points anyway (remember you will be limited to blunts), and you will eventually go will the Cleric's thac0 and saving throws regardless.

You could wait until level 13 for the extra 1/2 attack, but you'll have a very long wait before you regain your Ranger abilites.

If you're still in BGI (I'm not completely familiar w/ Tutu), I'd dual at Ranger Level 2. You want a Cleric, with some Ranger bonuses, right?

[IMG] I used Shadowkeeper to make Jahiera into a (multi-class) Ranger/Cleric, and even though she has less than 100hp, she is still a ridiculously awsome fighter due to Ironskins!

Although, um, I'm not sure that if you "Dual-class" your character, I'm not sure if you'll get that awsome spell!

@Neeraj: Yes, you will still get the spell Ironskins whether you Dual Class or not...its the only reason to take a Ranger/Cleric over a straight cleric atleast in my opinion. :)

    [IMG] Alright awsome!

Spellcasters are always so much more awsome when they can fight! Or at least backstab as in Imoen's case. I'm big on versatility!

Hey Faraaz you are from India! I'm goin' there in the future with my family to go see my grandparents and cousins!

Imoens a decent back stabber at high level at least, with upgraded Angurvadle, I've seen her get scores of 60-70 hp damage*, not bad for a level 7 theif.

*and thats not even using tensors.

So I guess it's going to level 7. I'm really looking forward to being able to cast druid and cleric spells and just kicking butt, for goodness ofcourse. Thanks guys.
