THis has probably been bought up in another post, but how do you get all clerical spells, including druid? I know its some kind of ranger/cleric, but multi or dual class. If dual, what level to dual at?

    thanks

Ranger/Cleric either DC or MC allow ye to cast both divine spell types.
If ye dual, to get both spell types dual right after ranger lvl 2. (lvl8 in BG2)
If ye take MC, yer cleric class will halt at lvl14 (correct me if i'm wrong) giving ye 1 lvl7 spell

So, its best to dual class, right?
What weapon proficiences, I was thinking probably dual weild ( can clerics dual weild? I know rangers can ) mace, and flails.
    Any ideas?

    Thanks

If you just want a cleric which can cast all divine spells, dualclass will be a natural choice. (use MC in case you want a slightly offensive cleric with less clerical power but better combat stats)
Weapons? You will be limited to clerical weapons only (Mace, flail, warhammer, sling, q-staff) after dualclassing, so do not give your ranger specalization in any weapons other that those. What to choose is up to you, there are decent examples of all of those weapons in game, and you may want to upgrade dual-wielding to mastery to wiled maces/flails/warhammers/mixed in pairs with the smallest ToHit penalty for off-hand

[IMG] Yes, dual classing is good for the Cleric. I have a dual classed Ranger/Cleric and he rocks. I'm not sure if I have all of the druid/cleric spells though, but I know I havea few of them and their good and well worth having. The Ranger/Cleric is a strong DC character to play.

for me who play single player game, and my main char is a human kensai/mage, I keep Jaheira, Anomen and Aerie for both divine spells.

I like Aerie as she knows both mage and priest spells

'Tis not why a normal non-masochistic person would like her... Nay, she definetly is not the best influence on my moral, no she is not, indeed.
