    I dont know for sure - I mean I dont know the rules - but I would logically assume this would work in the cases they are wearing anything heavier than light armour - thus rendering their natural ambidextry useless.

    Well, if you wanted to wear med or heavy armor and still wanted to duel wield. But that is what Fighter is for isn't it?
