    [​IMG] In Spellhold where Irenicus steals your soul (and Imoens), and he kills all of those shadow thieves, he uses a spell called "Rapture of the Father". Does anyone know what this does (besides killing shadow thieves)? Please tell.

    That spell's code is SPIN864 and that means it's Irenicus' special ability (innate).

    That spell/ability works the same as Wail of the Banshee spell (SPWI913), but there's no possible saving throw against it.
    I mean, Wail of the Banshee can fail if creatures make saving throw, otherwise they're slain.

    Also keep in mind that the caster and companions are immune to the effects of the Rapture of the Father.

    I would assume from the spell's name that it was part of the process of stealing Imoen's soul (and yours). What? Did you think he caged and killed the shadow thieves at that point in time just for the fun of it? I don't think it could be used on its own like Wail of the Banshee.
