Just some more stuff. Think whatever you want of it. But please, keep an open mind, and try to understand that there many different cultures in the world, yours is not king.

Sir Dargorn, why on earth do you oppose an attack that could get rid of the Taliban rule, if your sympathy is with sites such as this?

What would be your idea of justice then? would you just let things go on, rebuild and forget?

When the ira attack britain do we plough in and trample ireland through to get to the terrorists. No we protec the country and use secret tactics to get at the terrorists.

Yes, and that's exactly what the U.S. intends to do. Only your inherent arrogance can explain why you immediately assume that our hunt for bin Laden inevitably means millions of innocent lives lost.

There was never anything like last week's attack in England. The IRA doesn't come close to these Islamic pricks. Try to forgive us if we seem a little pissed off.

[Edited to remove the more blatant insults.]

[IMG] It could be the way that Bush is talking of war, all the armed forces gathering on the doorstep or maybe just that reacently there's been too many occasions that the US has begun bombing people.
As for the IRA, yep, they never did something on that scale. They still killed and produced suffering and outrage. Perhaps we should ask one thing and only one thing instead of throwing insults around:

Do we approve of what happened?

I think that the answer to this is no, no killing of people who did not deserve to die can ever be approved.
Although Shralp, what would your reaction be if an organisation appeared in the UK that was basically funding the organiastion behind the attack?
In the US there was many that funded the IRA, and many of the citizens who willing gave money to them to hand to the terrorists.
All that has became known reacently is that someone in the Middle East has decided to bring America to task and declare war on the country because he see's that the country is doing him or his country or whatever a wrong. The way that this person, or people are 'righting' (for lack of a better word) is wrong. And lets face it, no country or person is innocent, but somethings are just wrong, like being responsable for the death of so many by ANY means, including refusing medical supplies to be shipped into a country.
Here's a soloution, kill all the politicians, if they stop making decisions for so many to line their own pockets with silver, the world will be a better place.
And i do not expect this to be well recieved after other things i have read on the board, but at least put together a rational argument and hold the childish insults, I left them behind years ago and am sick of reading them.
This is the last post i'm making on this subject, and accept that people differ in their opinions of what should be done in response to this surge of terrorism, but am saddened that so many people are now nurturing so much anger and bitterness towards others in the boards. People have the right to be against war and killing, just as they have the right to think that the perpetrators of these acts, and all terrorism acts, no matter how small, should be hung drawn and quartered.
This might sound a little disjointed, but hey, i've been working a 16 hour shift and haven't slept yet, just hope that people can see my point of view here without turning all angry and holier than thou on this post. Lets get back to being a community and hopefully one day leading a bloodless revoloution to take over the world for the better.:)

Eh. Why is it always the more restrained, intelligent posters that say "This is my last post"? C'mon, if we want to keep this above a namecalling war of insults, you guys have to help. :D

Well thank you Arkados. Pictures sometimes tell more than words. After scamming through many of the pictures I became more and more aware of Taliban twarting and bullying other groups in Afghanistan. I find their approach brutal and cold hearted. I base this purely on the pictures.

Still I don't feel I have enough knowledge about Taliban to play wise guy and tell everyone how this should be solved in a few sentences. But just to have seen pictures of the Taliban's rulership probably made me wiser somehow.
