Really annoying bug

    I'm soloing a kensai, and I've sided with the shadow thiefs. I went down to the catacombs under the graveyard to clear out the vampires. But there is a little problem: there is two of every person, vampire, golem, spider, everyone down there, and it's (for obvious reasons) causing severe problems. Is there anything that can be done, or should I just fight my way through twise as many vampires?

    Fight your way through them. There will be no problem actually at the end.

    However, if this is a big problem for a solo-kensai to deal with, and if you still have the game saved just before you've entered the catacombs (auto-save), do this:
    - exit BG2
    - open BG2 subfolder called override
    - delete the file named AR0801.BCS inside that folder
    - restart BG2, load the save BEFORE you've entered the catacombs and then enter the catacombs again

    I didn't have a save before that, so I am fighting my way through. It's actually not that hard, the only hard foes were the two spellcasting vampires. Especially maze was irritating. On the other hand, I get lots 'n lots of experience...
