    Just wanted to say I finally got through the complete season of Record of Lodoss War : Chronicles of the Heroic Knight, and it is definitely one of the best DVD animes I've seen in a while. Just wondering if there were any more RoLW fans out there.

    I had a roommate in colleget that was a complete anime junkie, so I think I saw a couple of episodes of that one.

    If I remember correctly, each episode would have some classic D&D bad guy in it, and the long haired wizard fellow would say something like, "A beholder?! that is THE BEST you can do?! haha!" then the beholder starts seriously kicking his ass around, and the chosen-one-type-kid kills it saving everyone.

    I think a also saw an episode of that where the wizard gets his ass kicked by a green dragon (looked like a brontosaurus) and the kid does a good anime jump, and cleaves its head open.

    Dunno, is that "Record of the Lodoss War?"

    Hey! I used to be a total Record of Lodoss War fan. But I didn't see the first ones. I saw the OVA ones. The part where Ashram comes back and they gotta slay the the dragons to find the scepter of dominance and stuff. Its a great anime, but after watching Kenshin, I'd give Kenshin a 14/10 and ROLW a 6/10
