Reforging a weapon

    [​IMG] Hi, just a quick question, has anyone found it possible to reforge the broken sword you get off the Drugar in irenicus's dungeon, the info says "Broken weapon: This is all that remains of an enchanted weapon" Im curious as to what it was so trying to refore it, no walkthrough Ive seen even acknowledges this.

    Im assuming its nothing too special, however it could be that the programmer knew this would be overlooked...who picks up a broken sword anyway? could be a very useful weapon may be junk but I wanna find out...the only thing I can think of right now is maybe I need a dwarf/gnome main character and reforge it in the forge in the second area...after all the forge identifies as "This Large and impressive forge is probly used in the creation of magical devices" maybe somehow you befriend the Drugar here, or theres a way to do it yourself, I cant seem to do it yet tho.

    Something for all those hard core "I gotta have everything" folks to take a look at :)

    as far as i know u can't reforge that weapon..it was glitch i think. i have a dwaven fighter and tried but it didn't do anything.

    This has come up on the boards before, and I think we came to the conclusion that it has no signifigance. I don't even get it in my game every time I play. Though if this is your first time through, know that you can have items forged (but not in Chapter 1). So keep an eye out for goodies and good luck!

    The broken weapon is just an old weapon that was used long ago, broke in a gight and remained there... until is was useless. It has no use. The same goes for the forge in Irenicus Dungeon, you can't do anything with it. And as every smithy knows, a broken weapon can sometimes be restored but a blade that is more rust then Iron is useless.. so just throw it away ;)

    i think that the dueguar is supposed to have a enchanted weapon from the spell of the same name. but, they only ast a day. so if your rest it becomes abroken weapon like the spell of the same name.
