[IMG] Hey, I know a number of us SP'ers use ebay and that some may even (admit it ;) ) engage in LARP or have friends that do.

I recently saw Gladiator again and read Steven Pressfield's Gates of Fire, so I'm inspired to pick up a wearable Roman/Greek helmet for my room. The trouble is, all the ones that I find on the net are either too expensive or un-wearable.

    Here's my question:

Would any of you know of any roman/greek wearable replica helmets that cost 50USD excluding shipping? Or of any specialty shop in Rome that carries items of this sort within my price range? (I'll be going to Rome in May :) )

    Thanks guys.

I know some sites that do Viking and Norman helmets (handmade). Lots of Irish blacksmiths also do Celtic head-dresses and helmets.

I collect antique weapons and am slowly building up a collection of armour while not antique is handmade and very authentic.

Let me know if you are interested.
