Reputation can be frustrating!

    [​IMG] OK!! I'm playing BG II, I have a reputation of 20 and what the f*** happens? well viconia just leaves... ok i've played this game before, but i didn't have viconia in my party for very long, so my question is: what do I do to get my reputation to sink to 17, 'cause i've read somewhere that if your rep is under 18 the evil NPC's won't leave the party... is there any other way than to simply steal form merchants and get caught??
    Appreciate an answer...

    Do you mean over 18? If not, just boot them if you don't want them! I have never had anyone leave from having a good (20) reputation, and that includes Edwin!

    It's a bug exploit, but if your rep is over 18 whenever they join your party, they will not leave. Another way: Use the slayer. You lose two rep every time you use it.

    Question then: Edwin joined me at rep level 12, I am now rep 20 and once in a while he shouts something like: I have it up to here I can stand this no more

    Is that supposed to be the trigger to talk to the PC and leave, becaus in my game he just says it out loud and nothing more?

    The NPC's just do that, they cry out something when they're unhappy with the rep.
