[IMG] okay, for takara and the others, you already know that my BG2 was restarting repeatedly for no apparent reason. Because of this I decided to play BG1 first and hope that this problem solved itself. Unlike BG2, I was able to play BG normally for a couple of days, but now, it's suddenly afflicted with the same damn restart glitch! I've finally decided to restore Bios to defaults but I can't access it. When my computer is turned on, it displays a different screen. It only displays 3 options: User # 1 (Me), Other users (self-explanatory) and then shut down. I've tried pressing both delete and F3 but nothing happens. This being the case, how do I access the BIOS screen to restore the defaults? I think the God of Games is telling me to study for my accounting test..heh.

Open up ur pc and take out the big flat battery that's on your motherboard. this will restore factory settings in ur bios. bear in mind it's never a good idea to mess with those things!!! (Some pcs require the battery to be taken out for up to 30 mins, so be patient.)

Then this may be useful to you, or maybe not at all; burn it, throw it out the window, take the baseballl bat you hide under the bed and make some use of it, after this, salvage the HD and BUY A NEW COMPUTER!!

...but obviously only resort to this as a final option when you fail to reset your BIOS.
