In my last topic, someone mentioned that even if Jaheira is dismissed from the party forever, I will still be able to summon her in TOB at the plane. So if I let Keldorn retire to go back to his family, will I be able to summon him in TOB?
    I need a confirmed answer.
    Thanks in advance!

Yes, he'll be willing to rejoin you, even if you let him retire. I did that in my game - I graciously let him stay with his family, and then inexplicably, come ToB, he asked for one last chance to join the party.

You'd think that he'd be a li'l reluctant to participate, given not only his retirement, but the fact that he's been summoned to a demonic pocket plane. Would YOU trust someone whose summer home was a slice of hell?

just remember to strip all items he have, or they are lost forever (he wont have them when you summon him in hell.)

Hence the problems of omitting a global. AFAIK, the only NPC that cannot join you in ToB is Yoshimo (+ any that you killed in SoA). If the NPC is alive, then they can join up.
