Well, I'm here more often than I thought!

The patch permitted me to get all the keys in the tomb, but the Portal to Bones was nowhere to be found near Tomb of the Embraced. Without the big shot wererat's skull, no Mort. So, clever devil, I took everybody up to town, figuring I'd get back to the Lower Ward via the Tenement and the talking wall, zip down the stairs under the wizard's sofa, chop up the wererats, and Bob's yer uncle! No dice: the game's not having any of THAT.
So I'm stuck in the hive with no way to get back to the lower ward. Thoughts?

Also, the world map's now offering rapid transit to selected destinations (but not the lower ward!). I presume that's what I earned in the tomb?
    O.

Hmmmm. Sometimes restarting from an autosave point will fix things...

Failing that, perhaps if you got another skull it would help.

sort of spoiler, if you don't already know this.....

You can get the skull of the Silent King, and that will do just as well as the Wererat's. There's just more fighting involved as you have to break-in to his guarded throne room, however, having it might open that portal back up and make it worth the risk.

[IMG] You're stuck by a bug. You must be able to go to Lower Ward.
Try to correct this by deleting ALL files in CACHE folder (don't delete the folder itself).

If that doesn't help - buy Cubed Toy from Vrischika, talk to Ivanne about it (in Art and Curio Galeria), experiment and activate the toy, find Portal Lens, use Portal Lens. Enough hints for today! :p
