This topic has been discussed before but I think it's time for a new one... This came up in conversation a few days ago and the thought struck me again...

"If I had an extreme abundance of cash... Whatever would I do with it?"

My first answer was, of course, to organise an SP gathering of all the main members, but I think that's just because I was on SP at the time :D

The more I think about it, the more I want to do it. If I had an abundance of money I'd pay three quarter's of everyone's plane fare to wherever the destination would be... Finally we'd get to meet everyone in real life, friendships would be forged and rivals would be made :D

Of course, I'd only do all this after setting myself up to live nicely for life with all the newest computer hardware and software that I need :D I'd spend my life on eBay buying everything that caught my attention :D

So here's the real point of this topic, if you had money to spare, what would you do with it? Anything goes...

But, Herf. You were already at the first gathering.

As far as what I'd do with lotsa money:

Well, first pay off debts. Then pay off other people's debts. Then make a vigilante identity and outfit myself better than Bruce Wayne ever could.

I really have no use for money, not that I´m rich or something.
I believe that money is earned through honest and hard work.

So I would give it away

    P.S.
And no, I´m not drunk, stoned, high or whatever.
    I think.

    OOOoooh Pink Elephants!!!

[IMG] I'd give most of it to my mother and the rest of the family

I would probably by a gaming computer...
    Marrowind 3, PST, IWD2, B&W:CI, B&W

I would also keep some money and save up for other things - flights to Scotland and Spain.

I think an SP meeting thing would be cool

Get a new internet connection. With this one I have to click on links four or five times to get them to load.

I would buy a house somewhere on an ssland at the Caribean or Pacefic and live there for at least 4 months a year (depends on how long the rainy period here is) and I would also travel much. I would of course also donate much to a good fund.... but I would keep so much that I never in life have to work anymore. Maybe I would still work somewhere for 12 hours a week, for the social contacts....

Hmm, i think i'd also like to see all the mane attractions of the USA. I really wanted to look out of the observation deck of one of the twin towers one day, but that's never gonna happen now... so i'd wanna see places like the grand canyon, eat at that rotating restaurant in Seattle... just do a whole load of stuff all over it, then come home and buy a really big house in Kensington, London.

    [IMG] I would:

    1. Buy an amazing present for me special laydee, and make her feel the most appreciated person in the world.
    2. Give a shedload o' bux to Tal.
    3. Sponser hundreds of kiddies in 3rd world countries (only £15 a month)
    4. Employ a bunch of specialists in various fields to train me up as a true paladin.
    5. Make the police employ as a master of justice.
    6. Add an element to the atmosphere that makes tobacco melt and evaporate.
    7. Employ five psychowhatsamajiggers to sit me on their couches, and sort out my jumbled emotions, and prevent me from wanting to cry all the time.
    8. Buy a peaceful and lush tropical island, that is completely secret from the world, and genetically engineer a male and female elf to live there and breed.
    9. Buy out Bill Gates, foul up the company's name, and let it die.
    10. Do something so incredibly romantic that she'll never want to leave me ever.
