Ring of Acuity?

    I believe it's in the Wizard's Tower in Ust Natha, the Drow City. Don't hold me to that though...

    You'll need a magic rope to enter.

    There are two spellcasting-ability bossting rings in BG-2:

    a)Ring of Acuity - gives two 2nd lvl spells, one 3rd lvl spell and one 4th lvl extra-spells. You get it after solving the Spere quest from Lavok.
    b) Ring of Wizardry ?! (just know the german name) - item was changed from BG-1, where it was like the ring of acuity in BG-2); made by the aprentices you have to train in the spere. Giges one 5th, 6th and 7th lvl extra-spell.

    There is another magical ring at one of the harpers but I don´t know which, I guess another ring of acuity.

    IIR the harpers have a ring of wizardry, as my main char was not a mage, yet I distinctly recall have both a ring of wizardry and a ring of acuity.

    [​IMG] I have two rings of wizardry on my main mage and I found both during the course of the game. (No creating from the console or such).
    Beats me where I found them though.

    I found the ring of Acuity at the end
    of the planar sphere quest...

    Where is the ring of wizardry? The only
    place I have not enter in the sphere is
    the room that the thief say lead to an
    empty store room..

    Summary:
    Ring of Acuity - finish sphere quest
    Ring of wiz 1 - In the beginning of the Harper quest (you need Jaheira for this)
    Ring of wiz 2 - Sphere stronghold quest. You can let your apprentices make one. Since it is a stronghold quest you need to be magicuser/sorcerer.
