    found a ring of wizardry the other night, and in the description, it said that I (my charecters name) had had it made a while back, and that i was a powerful mage. this is strange seeing as my character is a wizard slayer! anyone else come across this? (i cant remember where i found it)

    My main character, a sorcerer, had the same thing happen. I wasn't too sure if that was because my character had made it or because my name happens to be the same as the name on the ring. My BG1 char's name, Palin, ran into someone else with that name also, but it was just because the name's were common. My sorcerer's name is Valyn, BTW.
