I have a mutiplayer-party with a fighter as main char and no Jaheira, so I don't become the master of the Planar Sphere and I can't do the Harpers Quest. But I still need a Ring of Wizardy for my mage had only 4 magic missiles and the triggers use a lot of it, is there still a way to get this good ring?

As far as I know, the only way to get a ring of Wizardy would be to cheat, to get your apprentices in the sphere to or in a battle against harpers. With your party, and assuming you dont want to cheat, the only way to get it would be to reinstate Jaheira into your party. I think this would get the harper quests to continue, and so you could get a ring in one of the battles.

No cheating for me. Well I can get Jeheira in my party but then I lose one of my chars for good and that should be my cleric/mage and she needs the ring so I think it's better to play without the ring then. Thanx anyway!

First of all, it will not give you any more magic missiles, as it gives an additional 5th, 6th and 7th level spell.

Now there is a very simple way to get it.
    1) When in Irenicus dungeon, did you have Jaheira in your party, or you dismissed her right away? if you had it in your party even for 5 seconds you are fine.
    2) In order fr Meronia to show up it takes from 9 to 90 days depending on the romance level (see Dan Simpsons w/through). As you don't have any you will have Meronia show up in about 15-20 days.
    3) You do your quests in Athkatla and don't rush to Spelhold until Day 20. Then go to the Docks near the Harpers base and accept Jaheira in the party (you can have another char wait for you just there). The trick is that Meronia shows up INSTANTLY - the time between the time you FIRST had Jay in your party (Jon I. dungeon) and the SECOND time you took her counts for that quest.
    4) you go sleep in the inn, Jay returns, you do the quest (you might also do the Ployer thing for EXP and loot) and kick her out and take your char.
    5) in fact, it works for all other NPC's as well - Jan Jansen and Mazzy were the ones I did that way too.

If you finish the sphere you'll get the Ring of Acuity which is a ring of wiz but with additional 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th. That will help you with the magic missile.

Modjahed ---> I play multiplayer so when I accept her in my party I can't get my multiplayer char back.....

ANd I indeed made a biog mistake, I never had the ring of wizardry in BG2 so I thought it would double the lvl 1 spells :)

    Never mind, forget the ring.
