Rogue stone battle

    What are your tactics for defeating the party in the docks area that is accessed by opening a portal using the rogue stone.

    A.k.a. The Twisted Rune battle.

    With soloing sorcerer:
    Multiple Project Image - loads of Skull Traps on one side of the table and loads of Delayed Blast Fireballs on the other. Start battle... see bad guys die...

    Semi-cheezy, but the easiest way I've found is:

    Azuredge and/or Mace of Disruption helps a lot (either will take out the lich and vampire quickly). The Shield of Balduran will take care of the Orb. A paladin with Carsomyr will pretty much chew the spell caster. The Flail of Ages is excellent for taking out the fighter.

    PC/Cavalier: Starts with MoD, attacks lich immediately. Shifts to Carsomyr after the lich is dead and proceeds to the spellcaster. The one hit kill on her gated pit fiend was fun.
    Minsc: Starts with Azuredge and attacks lich, attacks vampire next, then shifts to flail of ages and finishes off the fighter.
    Jaheira: With Shield of Balduran advances on the beholder. Then moves to aid Minsc.

    No spell casting was necessary.

    ^I don't know this battle. How to start it?

    BTW, where will I find Kangaxx' parts? Never have seen them.

    This battle is in the bridge district. There is a door that is impossible to open unless you have a rogue stone. Insert the rogue stone (expensive door) and you are teleported to one of the toughest battles in the game.

    There is already a thread about Kangaxx.

    I had no problems with them in chapter 2. A few traps where the lich shows up and he is instantly dead. A couple of skull traps to take out the beholder and soften up the two warriors, then they are easily dispatched by weapons. After that the guy with the boots of speed walked up so the mage see him and throw her ice storm, he runs out of the area without taking any damage and then it's easy to take her out with weapons..
    I think I took something around 10 damage in total in that battle...
