Greetings, I beat BG2 a while back and had finished the romance, I then uninstalled the game because I really didn't want to play through it again. Unfortunatly my save files are gone, and I can't continue my romance into ToB (I just got it, yeah I'm slow). Is there any way to edit anything to get romance to start in tob? I really don't want to play through the entire thing again, as much fun as it was, it gets boring.. If not, let me know please.

[IMG] Sigh, this has been asked a gajillion times before. "How do I reactivate the romance in ToB?". "What are the commands to get the romance active?"

Even though you could have searched the solution for yourself, I'm going to help you anyway.

    1. Get in the game
    2. Activate the console (Ctrl-Space) (for instructions on how to, read the Power Users.txt and look for debug)
    3. Type in: CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("NameRomanceActive","GLOBAL",2)
    4. Before pressing enter, remember to change the "Name" to whoever you're romancing ie. Jaheira
    5. Press ENTER, and you're done.

SK is easier. Go to the globals editor, and edit whoever you want to romance's varable to 2.

Shadow Keeper? As far as I know, it isn't compatible with ToB. I could be wrong though. And don't mess with the variables unless you really have to.

Edit: It is? Hmm, doesn't work with mine.

Rhythm - If you really want to use SK (although I can't see why anyone would), you need to download the latest version of SK from their website for it to be compatible with ToB.

Nothing wrong with using SK, unless you cheat. Sure, it's a cheating tool but I use it to get resource keys, file names, etc.

Well, SK is good, but it can make some problems with the game so people generally reccomend the console.
And why should there be anything wrong even if you use SK for cheating? (I do mean singleplayer here)
