    Tee-Hee!

Yeah, I saw that too. Mom and dad probably didn't want their daughter seeing some poor ghetto filth, so they dragged her along. Or at least, that's pretty much how I read that article.

I dunno if that's really the case. I just like to think it is. ;)

    You called ?

I think it's a classic case of Juliet wanted Romeo, but those parents.

The letter and no remorse afterwards ? Teenage-Girls - Have brains or not ?

But I think the people who sucked was the captain and the crew of the ship. Hey, a captain of a ship. He has to stay cool, when the ship hits an iceberg.

But that girl has a huge problem. False alarm and those "anti-terrorism" laws. She wanted love, now she's a terrorist in a jail. (Hm, what's with the boyfriend ? Did they split and he's happy elsewhere ?)

Funny thing is Yago, I almost typed "Yago" instead of "SP's America Bashers," but thought better of it. :shake: I knew you'd chime in regardless. Welcome.

To me, this is a classic example of (God I feel old for saying this) kids in America today. Too many teenagers are just so oblivious to the rest of the world, specifically those of middle class and above. They have their cute little cars, and their beepers, and their $300 cell phones with Eminem ringtones and gab all day on their 50,000 minute calling plans that their parents pay for, hanging out at the mall all day charging useless crap up on Daddy's credit card, totally oblivious to the terms "consequences" or "limits" or "responsibility." I like to refer to them as the TRL generation.

There's a lot of snotty, stupid teens out there. Of that, there is no question. But there's a lot of them right here in Canada (sorry, Death Rabbit, no escape for you here!) and I'm willing to bet that dumb rich kids are all over the globe. That said, I found no evidence in the article that implied the boyfriend was some sort of trash or that the parents objected to him on that sort of basis. Were you just sharing your vivid imagination with us, EJ?

Shall I assume that she did this because she was American?

In any case, very silly. Could have been worse, though. Could have been a "real" terrorist, so to speak.

That's got to be one of the stupidest reasons for getting arrested, but yes, she did deserve it.

He can't be that bad if he lives in or near Laguna Hills. I lived in Orange County for the first 15 1/2 years of my life, and Laguna Hills is a pretty nice town.

I bet this chick was just looking for attention...or maybe she likes men in uniform. :rolling:

    Yep,

plenty of stuck up, spoiled, idiots up here in Canada.

Canada would be no refuge for you Death Rabbit.

    In fact ...

Depaara and myself are both from the Canadian province of Alberta. We can tell you right now that Alberta is every bit as redneck, snobby, bigoted, and backwater as Texas is in its reputation. In Alberta, we always hear direct comparisons between Alberta and Texas.
