    I've began romances with Aerie and Jaheira before, never even got to the :D good stuff.

    Viconia: Racial and alignment requirements? PLease help.

    And can a romance start in ToB if you begin the game in ToB?

    If you want to romance Viccy you must be either human, half-elf or halfling. There aren't any alignment restrictions.

    I think that you can't start a new romance in ToB (but romances started in SoA continue)

    I wonder if the halfling part is correct...

    Anyway, install Bioware NPC flirt pack from forgottenwars and you can start a new romance in ToB.

    There are no alignment requirements. The racial requirements are as follows:

    Viccy: Must be half-elf, human, or halfling. Believe it or not, if you are an elf you CANNOT romance Viccy (probably due to her hatred of surface elves).

    Jaheria: Must be half-elf, elf, human or halfling.

    Aerie: Must be half-elf, elf, human, halfling or gnome (I guess because of being aided by Quayle).

    And yes, I know for certain you can be a halfling, because I once had a romance with Viccy as a halfling theif.

    While Viccy is supposed to be able to romance half-orcs, there's a bug where that does not happen.

    [​IMG] Humans, Half-elves and Halflings may romance any of the choices.
    Elves may romance everyone but Viconia
    Gnomes may only romance Aerie if they are male.
    Half-orcs and Dwarves may not romance at all.

    There are no alignment restrictions, though the Romance choices may leave temperarily for quests or if your reputation causes conflict.

    ToB romance may only be carried over from SoA. You cannot start a new romance.

    All of these can be overcome by cheating, though you wouldn't want to do that now, would you ;) ?
