I know this topic must have been touched on countless times before, but...

Its widely known that the romances in SoA and ToB are pretty riddled with bugs (especially the Jahiera one from my experience). I was wondering if anyone out there has made a mod or fix pack to make the romances run more smoothly.

I.e. not let the Jahiera romance get stuck on the "How did that last fight make you feel?" dialogue loop :p

Or alternatively, if manually take the romance onto the next lovetalk, will that have an adverse effect on the romance as a whole? Or will it just proceed normally.

    Thx for any replies :D

(secretly hopes Extremist reads this, hehe)

[IMG] If you mean forcing the Next LT with CLUAConsole then it depends.

If you mean by using CLUA to advance time then it will definitly work.

There are a couple of dialogues I think which depend on what you said before in the last dialogue. I don't think there are that many though.

If there are any fixes then they are most likely on SP :p

I wonder why it is that some people get dialogue loops with Jaheira :hmm:

    (don't use SK :p it's more trouble than it's worth :D )

Easy, just d/l Ex's Romance guide and use SK to change the variables to the one after the bugging dialog.

(Secretly hopes that Extremist DON'T see this)

Kevin Dorner of Baldurdash has several such fixes in his site. You can just search it off and it'll usually appear on top of the list.

I remember some fixes in this site as well.

CLUA Console and ShadowKeeper are very handy to have around most of the time, but best stick to fixes since both can ruin the game in more ways than technically.

Thanks for the replies all :)

BTW 8people: I meant using CLUA to manually progress the romance past the looping LT :)
