    Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven Introduces Characters, Systems

    Square Enix released new screenshots and details for the upcoming Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven, its full remake of Super Famicom RPG Romancing SaGa 2. The update introduces a selection of new characters as well as providing more information on the game's glimmer system, development and progression elements, and its free-form scenario.

    Rather than featuring a single party, Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven sees players control a lineage of emperors in a long-running battle against the Seven Heroes of ancient myth. The update features seven new characters and their associated classes: Regulus, Rose, Shiyuan, Jubei, Natalia, Siero, and Thetis. Regulus and Rose are Freelance Mages conducting research at the Incantations Lab. Regulus is adept at hydrology and terrology, while Rose excels in pyrology and terrology. Shiyuan is a renowned Strategist from the Imperial University who is proficient at magic but has misgivings about the usage of umbrology. Jubei is a member of the Levante Guard - warriors from the east who swear fealty to the Emperor - and uses a style of swordplay passed down across generations from the Kingdom of Yauda.
