    Announced just a few days ago, Rubedo: The Occult Dawn is an intriguing RPG with an open world developed solely by dev Albert Nemec. This Role Playing Game not only showcases a remarkable graphic style but also features a fascinating combat system where players will have fun mixing alchemical elements to unleash devastating magical effects.

    I'm not sure if I'll be up to this complex combat system, but the graphic style and the open-world tag definitely caught my eye. These always draw me in. But let's take a closer look at what it's all about.

    Rubedo: The Occult Dawn Combat System
    Rubedo: The Occult Dawn transports players into a captivating open-world RPG where magic, once eradicated by ruthless witch-hunts, teeters on the edge of resurgence. Set in a kingdom where you are the last surviving witch, players must restore the realm to its former occult splendor using rituals, spells, and invocations inspired by historical Solomonic magic and alchemy.

    The protagonist, freed from a lifetime of imprisonment by a royal decree, faces a dire mission to unleash the long-sealed chaos as the kingdom's last hope against an impending invasion. Players will grapple with the choice of wreaking havoc with ancient spirits and curses or guiding the realm toward a gentler, magical renaissance.

    The game boasts an innovative turn-based combat system, allowing players to combine nine alchemical symbols into thirty powerful sigils, offering a plethora of strategic possibilities. In this densely packed open world, every space serves a purpose, and players can join one of three factions, each providing unique quests, armor, and storylines that deepen the immersion.

    Character progression is choice-based, with players' decisions shaping their alignment towards Chaos, Mercy, or Truth. Beyond combat, the alchemy system enables players to transform both the world and their character through meticulous research. Additionally, players can build and customize their own occult hideout, complete with chambers, alchemical equipment, and a library, ensuring that every action and decision has a lasting impact on the fate of the realm.
