Rune Assassins (possible spoiler)

    I'm doing the Skinner Quest in the Bridge District right now and for some reason the Rune Assassins in the basement of Reyek's house ignore the Sanctuary spell. I've tried it several times: without casting any spells, without doing anything at all and I've tried to cast the spell before and after the dialog. The result is the same: the still attack (and hit) me.

    Is this a bug? I have the latest SoA patch installed (iirc).

    I don't think this could be a bug but just a "proficiency" rune assassins have that simply we don't know. As they aren't playable kits they might have a few powers unknown for us. Just try another tactics as using Invisiblity or Stoneskin if you're having troubles with them. Good luck!

    I don't believe any invisibility spells work vs. them. I noticed that they were attacking Aerie, who had an improved inv. on her at the time. The was before she had a chance to cast a spell too. Luckely her stoneskins help up. :D

    They must have some kind of Detection Spell on them..I really don't know! :(

    These assassins are coded to ignore invisibility effects for some reason.

    must be an like an innate detect illusion ability for high level thieves

    rune assassins seem to perfect the art of the backstab very well
